    Welcome to round 6 Adelaide 88

    The Adelaide Street Circuit (also known as the Adelaide Parklands Circuit) is a temporary street circuit in the East Parklands adjacent to the Adelaide central business district in South Australia, Australia.

    The 3.780 km (2.349 mi) long "Grand Prix" version of the track hosted eleven Formula One Australian Grand Prix events from 1985 to 1995, as well as an American Le Mans Series endurance race on New Year's Eve in 2000 (Race of a Thousand Years). Since 1999, a shortened version of the circuit has held the Adelaide 500 touring car race. A sprint version of the circuit has also been used since 2014.

    The standings are tense for the final round in Adelaide. :D

    Thanks to Laurent Londes for (almost) winning GEAR the TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP !!! (my team)

    I've just realised - congrats go to Jukka, I'll almost certainly not make this as I'm flying up to Newcastle to buy a car on Friday.
    Unless the miraculous happens then the championship is probably his (Although Laurent is still close enough to capitalise on a mistake I think)..

    Pity that as I enjoy Adelaide a lot :(

    Unfortunately I won't be able to do this last round due to a pain under the shoulder.
    I will have a look on the broadcast though, thanks to Caitlin.

    Pretty fun race in the first half! Kept up relatively well with Jukka but then had problems with my wheel clamps later on and my wheel fell off my desk a few times. Near the end my engine started overheating so I also had to lift and coast and shortshift to get to the end. Congrats to Jukka on the win and Laurents on 3rd. Shame I didn't join earlier in the series as I probably would have enjoyed it :p

    Sorry for the two-parted stream guys. I was having internet issues and I did the best with what I had. I think it turned out ok in the end.
    Congrats to @Jukka Drugg for the championship, congrats to @Mac Shepherd for a wonderful podium in difficult circumstances and well done to @Laurent Londes for keeping the championship alive until the end. Good series, guys!

    Okay, if your wheel fell off the desk *a few times* I feel really bad I was still behind ! I would lose more than I minute to get it clamped again for sure. :p

    I wonder what differential power settings you guys used for the tight corners. I see your able to go on the power on those while I coasted through them, certainly costing me quite some time. I was on diff power 30.

    In qualifying I was able to put the car in P7 which was better than I expected since I had not done much practice beforehand.
    When the start lights went out I got a great launch and gained a couple of places but then had a collision going into T1 (not sure who I collided with, I don't have a replay) which resulted in a spin and some suspension damage. From that point onwards the car did not want to turn in and so my race was a rather lonely affair as I consistently drifted back from the battle between Doni and Toni but I did manage to get to the chequered flag.
    Congrats to Jukka, Mac and Laurent for the podium results and also CONGRATULATIONS to Jukka for another well-earned Championship :cool:.
    Many thanks to John for making this series happen and thanks also to Caitlin for bringing us such enjoyable broadcasts from every round :).
