Guys, i really dont like to be punted around and off the track twice in one lap. Behave yourselfs, you are **** with another man's nice experience and also ruining races for yourselfs.
I hope you understand this, next time i will file a complaint. Take your drive trought also and give back position as soon as you can, not racing further as if nothing did happen.

Wow that was a great race guys,& great combo , the track has a Mexican Hat Dance kind of rhythm to it ! I was just starting to figure it out with my best time in the 1:50's when my vid card started black screening !!!:mad::confused::eek::confused::cool:o_O ! it would go black for 1- 2 sec's then back for a min or 2 lol .. man I was turning & holding turns blind as the game did the 2 sec blink , It never went out of sync so it was visual only , it was amazingly difficult to lol ! Track memory alone got me to the last lap of the last race w/o totaling the car & then battling to hold off the charge for 5th place in R2 it happened in the big sweepers (my Favs) & again right in the stadium hair pin on the last lap & when the darkness was over I smacked right into someone's q-panel :( so sorry for that :(:( .. That sent them off into a spin :( after that happened I just gave up ,slowed pulled over to let the field pass .. was super fun fighting for 5th but then going to to 12th or where eve I ended up lol, kinda sucked … & with only 2 turns to go ..lol :p lol Damm !!! Black screens WTF .. :D

Soooo I go to restart my pc after checking nvid for new drivers , (im current & never had issues like this with AC ..) and theirs something blocking the restart "STEAM Screenshot Updater" WTF ?? lol its like it was trying to upload a screen shot & kept failing & re trying .. Never the less I did a spring cleaning dust blow out on the box , nice & fresh again so I hope that's will never happen again & sorry if I caused any other carnage as I was blindly holding the apex's in the dark LOL …

Thanks for the clean racing in the back guys !
See you at the next one !!:)

Blistering qualifyinglap from Bart, unreachable for me...
    Hats off mate!

At the start I saw him move before the lights went out and also made a better start which brought me into the lead.
I did not make mistakes and was happy to take the flag.

Race 2 I had a decent start but had to avoid Simon in the chicanes after he got spun round.
After that there were left and right good battles.
At a given moment still in the early stages of the race I was behind Frans who was behind Sean.
I had a good exit coming out of the ss' and used a push to pass.
Sean stayed in the middle Frans went to the outside and I went to the inside.
I think Sean did not expect me there at all as he turned in like I wasn't there.
We collided and he got catapulted into Frans. I only lost one place to my teammate.
The damage for Frans and Sean was worse.
After that I had a good run at him on the straight and made the pass a few corners later.
Bart, who made a better start than his first race ;), was already long gone. Grats with victory Bart!

See you guys at Barcelona for round 4.

    Cheers,

    Tim

So you'd think by now that I understand AC's intricacies but it seems not after tonight's races. For many races in any sim I tend to use the clutch pedal for the start and then the auto-clutch for gear changing, which rF, rF2 and AMS allow you to do. In effect the manual and auto clutches work together, so you can use whichever you want. But AC doesn't do that, as I've now discovered that you must have a manual shifter device installed to use the manual clutch.
So at R1 start, I dipped the clutch when the starting lights came on but when I engaged 1st gear, the car jumped forward a bit giving me a D/T for a false start  I didn't see the message because it was covered by another app display, resulting in a DQ after 2 laps.
For the start of R2 I held the brakes on when engaging 1st gear but when I pressed the throttle, even with the clutch pedal depressed, the car jump started again, but this time I saw the D/T message and took the penalty.
I managed to recover something by the end, with the benefit of issues for a few other guys, but at least I now know to forget the clutch pedal start for future races. I'm still not sure if it only works this way with certain cars/mods, or if it's fixed that way. Anybody else got a perspective on it?

I think the "clutch thing" is car related..I have a manual shifter attached but the clutch in this AudiTT didn't work properly for me either. I tried other paddle shift cars after and the clutch worked as expected and I didn't move forward with the clutch pedal fully down.

I did make a comment about this in the chat between races....or so I thought. because I use VR I have to take the Headset off, put my glasses back on, type the message (I don't type very fast either)..then glasses off, headset back on....race2 had already started..so I started 1:14 late and then got a cut track as I came out of the pitlane!

@Ken Jagger In real life, that car has an s-tronic transmission, so there is no clutch pedal. Just hit the 1st gear when lights go green.

Race 1 _ Great battle with Michiel from start to finish well happy with third.

Race 2 _ Wreckfest on public server is how I can compare it , had good battles aswell but driving standards of a few need to be assessed you cannot move across on main straight when somebody is there NO EXCUSE.

Still enjoyed it thanks for hosting see yall at the next races.;)

had great fun on both races!
in race 1 I had a contact with chris hill on the first chicane (my bad, was expecting him to be way more faster in second corner), but had a decent pace and finished 7th with a nice overtake on last lap.
race 2 was more interesting starting second, I had a clean race as the faster passed me, then I was 5th when frans had that (bad) contact before the stadium. He passed me again (man, you're fast) and as I was already enjoing my best result a big crash on turn 1, not really sure what happened but as I braked I found myself hit in the back and saw a car flying past me. Rejoined 10th, last lap I managed to get pass my team mate and with a bald (maybe legal) move I entered the stadium in front of the group... and then i guess I was the victim of rob's black screen, got sent under the crowd and finished 9th.
Anybody got replays of both races?
Also, I'd like to be mentioned if someone thinks I was too aggressive or got damaged by me, I try to race clean but I'm still a noob.
Semper Ludens Racing Team on a wonderful 4th (best of the rest :) ) position on championship, BRING IT ON!

Enjoyed last nights racing . Still way off the pace and sometimes feel like im in the way. I had a few contacts mostly light that I apologise for. Used to be fast at this but struggling to get a good car set up and used to my new seat and wheel. I was a lot faster in race as it was good to see other racers lines around the track .
    Getting quicker

Apologies if I played a part in any shinanigans last night

    Quote from Wikipedia:
"The Audi Sport TT Cup was a one-make super car racing series by Audi based in Germany first held in 2015. Audi Sport TT Cup cars based on the Audi TT.[1] It was a support series for the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, replacing the Volkswagen Scirocco R-Cup. For the 2018 season, Abt Sportsline was scheduled to take over the organization of the championship however due to lack of entries, Audi Sport Abt TT Cup were cancelled."

My point, in response to Henri's post, was that what happens in the RW isn't always copied exactly in the Sim world.
